SUBJECT TUTORS
Below is a list of subject tutors I have close working relationships with who provide a quality tutoring service. Should you require tutoring in other subjects, please consider these tutors. Any agreement you reach is between you and the tutor. I am working collaboratively with these tutors: we promote each other without payment and – to be clear – I am not an agent of any of them.
Whilst we may operate in different ways, in order to provide consistency for our students and families, we have the following in common:

-
Member of The Tutors’ Association: the voluntary, not-for-profit professional body that represents the tutoring sector (or equivalent)
-
A commitment to continuous personal development
-
Enhanced DBS check
-
Free-of-charge and without obligation initial student and parent/carer engagement. (Let the tutor know you have come to them through me.)
-
Student plan to focus on the knowledge, skills and exam technique required to help the student achieve their desired objective
-
Minimum number of lessons, typically eight hours of tutoring (subject to individual tutor practice though at least four lessons). (Note that after the first session, I require a half-termly commitment, which is usually between five and eight lessons.)
-
Recording of online sessions, subject to client consent, and retaining the recording for a minimum period of time for the student to access, subject to individual tutors’ policies
-
24 hours’ notice of cancellation or the lesson is fully chargeable, subject to the individual tutor’s practices, terms and conditions. (Note that my cancellation policy is such that lessons can be cancelled until right before the lesson is due to start but all lessons cancelled by the parent/student, no matter how far in advance the cancellation takes place, are rescheduled rather than refunded.)
